When you participate in a study, everyone can learn

Patients who take part in clinical studies may help the development of potential treatments for future patients. During a clinical study, a specially trained treatment team oversees your care. They will give you a study plan outlining the schedule for all your visits and what to expect. They will also explain the study plan in detail to you. This will help you decide if you want to participate in the study. If you choose to join the study, your treatment team will answer any questions you may have along the way. Your study participation is completely voluntary. You can opt to leave the study at any time. During the study, sharing your experience with your team is an important part of your role.

BMS supports diversity in clinical study enrollment. When diverse patients take part in studies, we learn more about how a treatment is likely to work in the real world.
